Total Care for the Homeless Coalition

The Total Care for the Homeless Coalition (TCHC) was founded in 1997 by bringing together housing and supportive service providers to create and maintain a "Continuum of Care" for homeless persons and families.

The Coalition has grown to include many member organizations from 6 counties. Coalition member organizations provide a wide range of housing and supportive services, including:

Correspondence, Bylaws, and Records-Keeping	Chairperson: David King - Secretary Cliff Rudd, Dennis Wormsley	To assist the Secretary with the duties and responsibilities of the Secretary, including: official correspondence, maintenance of the Bylaws and Operating Guidelines, official records-keeping.
Nominations and Elections	Chairperson: Jackie Brown - Past-President Rosetta Burson, Lillie McGill	Responsible for the process of nominating and electing persons to the Board of Directors, including the executive officers.
Finance and Budget	Chairperson: Clarence Gaines - Treasurer Sallie Urquhart, ???	To work with the Board and Executive Director to prepare appropriate financial policy, annual budget, and annual financial reports.
Select Committees
Advocacy	Al Teague ???	To act as a public relations, eductional, and advocacy arm of TCHC and shall plan for and implement an active program of awareness of TCHC's mission and objectives.
Membership	Chairperson: Sallie Urquhart ???	To plan for and promote membership in TCHC and work with the Secretary to ensure that accurate membership rolls are maintained.
Grant Applications	Chairperson: Jackie Brown ???	To plan for and undertake the development and submission of the annual application to HUD for Continuum of Care funding for homeless housing and supportive services project funding.
Technical Assistance	Chairperson: Cliff Rudd Lloyd Flores, ???	Provide information and expertise of the process to assist applicants seeking HUD funding.

HMIS	Chairperson: David King Lloyd Flores, Cliff Rudd, ???	Make recommendations for agencies that should participate in the HMIS program. Review Standard Policies and Procedures for HMIS.
By-Laws/Merger (sub-committee of Correspondence, Bylaws Committee)	Chairperson: Cliff Rudd Lloyd Flores, ???	Review and propose changes to the Bylaws and operations of TCHC, including ensuring consistency with the PeeDee coalition in anticipation of merging with them some time in the future.
